Waste and Recycling

HOUSEHOLD WASTE AND RECYCLING BILLING

Water and waste utilities are administered by Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW).  This includes billing for Rumpke waste and recycling collection at the City’s contracted rate.  Household waste and recycling pickup is billed to the property owner regardless of occupancy on a quarterly basis at the rate of $48.10 per unit per quarter.  The billing is included with your Greater Cincinnati Water Works statement.  For billing questions, call GCWW at 513-591-7700 or visit their website HERE.

RECYCLING

You Can Recycle (Curbside and Drop-Off)

  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Cans – remove lids/tips
  • Bottles and Jugs
  • Paper – break down cardboard
  • Cartons

Do not include batteries or plastic bags in your curbside or drop off recycling. All containers must be empty. Please place materials into recycling containers loose (not in plastic bags).
Use the green cart or red recycle bin.  Call 513-931-8840 to order one.

If you live in an apartment complex that does not offer recycling, you can bring your recyclables to our recycle dumpster located at the City Building at 7700 Perry Street.  The dumpster is on the McMakin Street side of the building in the parking lot by the Fire Department.

Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste has some great information about where and how to recycle old batteries on their website HERE.
