The City of Mt. Healthy contracts with Rumpke for collection of household waste and curbside recycling.  Hamilton County also has many programs and events that take place throughout the year for recycling electronics, household hazardous waste, tires and yard trimmings.  For information on all the programs and events that Hamilton County offers please visit their website through this link: The Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District

ACCEPTABLE RECYCLE MATERIALS FOR CURBSIDE PICK-UP

Newspapers with inserts, magazines, catalogs, telephone books, paperboard, such as cereal boxes, paper cartons (milk, juice, broth, wine cartons) junk mail, computer paper, and other mixed office paper, corrugated cardboard broken down to 3’x3′, pizza boxes with all grease and food residue removed.

All colored glass bottles and jars. Please rinse and remove rings and lids. Sorry, no windows, sheet glass, mirrors, light bulbs, drinking glasses, mugs, or oven/cooking glassware.

All plastic bottles and jugs. Please rinse and remove rings and lids.

Aluminum & Bi-Metal soda, pop, beer, steel food or soup cans are acceptable. Sorry, no pots or pans, coat hangers, or scrap metal.

NEED A RECYCLE BIN OR CART?
If you are being billed for household waste and recycling collection but don’t have a recycle bin or cart, call 513-931-8840 and we will assist you in obtaining one.

DONT HAVE CURBSIDE RECYCLING COLLECTION?
If you live in an apartment complex that does not offer recycling, you can bring your recyclables to our recycle dumpster located at the City Building at 7700 Perry Street.  The dumpster is on the McMakin Street side of the building in the parking lot by the Fire Department.
