Two hundred years of Mount Healthy history will come alive on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 7th from 1 to 4 pm,( Museum grounds opening at noon, and living history walking tours from 1 to 3 p.m.) It will be an afternoon filled with history, heritage and culture as we turn back the clock and celebrate Mt. Healthy’s rich past. Costumed actors will share the personal stories of Mt. Healthy settlers, farmers, abolitionists, artists, and soldiers through the first person voices of the notable individuals or their families.
The Free Meeting House/Museum grounds and building will open at noon, with some historic characters, historical displays and music. From there visitors will be escorted on living history tours, which will last about 45 minutes. The tours will begin at intervals with the first tour at 1 and running until the final tour at about 3:15 pm.
