Full Time Public Works Position

City of Mt. Healthy is hiring a full time laborer position within our Public Works Department for 2020. Exact starting date is still open.  Starting pay is based on experience.  40 hours per week and some overtime will be required during snow events and other emergencies.

Heavy lifting will be required in the position.  This is a position within the Public Works Department with a wide variety of duties pertaining to the maintenance of roads, green space, parks, storm sewers, and drainage structures within Mt. Healthy.

A Public Works Dept. laborer is responsible for performing manual tasks assigned by the Public Works Director and/or the City Manager.  The laborer will assist the street department with general maintenance of city right of ways, signage, snow removal, roads and storm sewer system repairs including on the job training as needed. Assist with the servicing and maintenance of vehicles, equipment and tools used by Public Works Department, operation of vehicles, trucks and equipment as needed for construction work, street maintenance, and hauling of materials.

Part Time Police Officers
The Mt. Healthy Police Department will always accept applications for part time Police Officers. Part Time Firefighters
The Mt. Healthy Fire Department will always accept applications for part time firefighters. All applicants must have a current EMT-B and Firefighter 1 certifications. 30 – 35 hours per week – 8am start time. Pay based on experience.
Class B CDL Air Brake endorsement license preferred but not necessary.
